Peru – Inca Trail & Manu Park
August 2007
About the trip
In August 2007, I traveled to Peru with Sheila, her sister Maura, her brother Billy, his girlfriend, Lisa, and my friend from the Odyssey bike ride, Patricia. The first part was hiking the Inca Trail (traditional route – 4-day high trail that ends in Machu Picchu). In the second part, I traveled through Manu park (part of the Amazon basin).
The Inca Trail was organized by GAP Adventures. The Manu part was through Manu Expeditions. Both tour companies did excellent jobs.
