It was a much smoother ride on the river, although by the time we reached the lodge, we had been sitting and traveling for 8 hours.
We took a brief break on a sand bar to stretch our legs (and use the “green toilet”)
We were extremely happy to arrive at the lodge. The lodge had no electricity or hot water, although a generator was run for a few hours every evening to recharge camera batteries.
