In 2021, Sheila, Eric, and I (Williams class of ’87) traveled to Tanzania to see animals and rest on the beach. We had postponed it from 2020, and were uncertain whether we should travel now, as Tanzania is experiencing a third wave of Covid-19. But Selma, our tour operator, wrote the Tanzanians are more than happy to have tourism going on as it is a huge form of income. If you feel comfortable, happy and safe to come we can highly recommend to come this August. The wildlife experience is amazing as not the whole world is travelling yet and on a safari you will hardly meet other people which makes it a very ‘covid-proof’ holiday.
So, we’re off!
