Sheila and I traveled to Mexico in January to see the monarch butterfly migration. We went to a small town of about 400 people (and 100 horses) called Macheros. We found the place because her brother had visited a year or two earlier. The B&B, in the center of the biosphere, is working hard to preserve the butterfly habitat and make sure the tourist money flows to locals.
