Sheila was passing through Seattle and stayed with me for a few days. One night we watched “Dancing with the Birds” on Netflix, which is a light documentary about Birds of Paradise. We decided our next trip would be to see them.
Papua New Guinea is where most are found, so that’s where we booked our tour with Rock Jumper Tours. It’s a long, long journey to get there, so we decided to throw in Australia as well. We explores the Gold Coast (east coast of Australia, near Brisbane), which has beaches and rain forests.
