We left the summit at 1:50.
We got dark clouds, thunder, and hail at the top. It did encourage us to move along.
We hiked out at dusk.
Even Adrian was getting tired – he said they must have redone the trail since we went up it, because he knew it hadn’t been this long in the morning!

Adrian and Allison’s time: 16 hours, 40 minutes
We dragged ourselves back to the camp. As we drove into the campground, we saw a huge back bear running down the road. We made a quick dinner, and crawled into our tents. I didn’t sleep very well, since my legs ached, and I stank — I didn’t want to be in the same tent as me!
