Kinabatagan to Tabin

In the morning, we had one last river cruise.

Then we were driven to Latud Datu and were handed off to Tabin Wildlife Resort, who drove us the rest of the way to our new lodge. We learned that we would have a guide to ourselves for the two days we were staying there.

As soon as we arrived, our guide (Maui) came up to us and said excitedly that he had something to show us.

In the river behind the lodge there was a family of river otters playing.

There was a small pond near the hotel restaurant, and a small water monitor curled up on the rock.

Our cabin was on the river, so occasionally saw the otters during our stay. It also was on the Macaque commute in the mornings.
