We had a final outing the last day at the lodge on a canopy walk. I can only walk on them for a limited amount of time before I freeze up and need to stop.
Borneo has the world’s smallest bear (Sun Bear – check), smallest elephant (Borneo elephant – check), and the world’s smallest squirrel. I had caught glimpses of one during our trip, but on the last day here, we finally saw on clearly. It was maybe the size of a wren.
There is also one of the the world’s smallest deer (Mouse deer) that we occasionally heard, but never got a good look at.
