After lunch, we headed out again.
We saw family of otters playing and grooming each other near their den.

Then heading to ongoing Jaguar sighting. There were a lot of boats already there. She was walking down the beach.

Someone muttered about it being a bad day for capybaras. She went into the tall grass, and squealing ensued. One baby capybara ran out and jumped into the water – swimming to safely.

Alas, the next one came out in the jaguars jaws. Evidently she had already eaten one baby, so she played with this one a little.

Then carried in into the bush and eventually the squealing died out.

It was grim.
We watched birds after that. Happy birds.
As we headed back, it got dark. Raul shone a flashlight along the edge of the river, and found some night birds.
