Raul told us SouthWild has provided us a new boat with a more powerful engine, so we could go further on the river — he planned to go up one river, take a channel to a different river, and head back on that.
The first thing we saw made our guide very excited – it was a Tyra in a tree. He said he only had ever seen on in passing. We didn’t get a very good look, unfortunately.
Our first jaguar sighting of the day was described as “half a sighting” by one of us.
But we got better jaguar views later.
