Last day — nice ride Eureka to Whitefish, terrible ride Whitefish to Kalispell (we were on highway 93 — I understand there’s a nicer back road, but I didn’t know about it).
We had pulled the van over to the side of the road, and were chatting, when another car pulled up behind us, and Denise got out! (She was another Odyssey rider.)
And that was it. Gene went home to Kalispell, Beth and Tom hit the road, stopping by Joyce and Gary’s place before heading towards Seattle, Dick visited the Zacks in Spokane the next day before heading back to Steamboat, and Russ and I drove back to Redmond the next day.
