Day 2: Lake McDonald to Many Glacier (62 miles)

This day was biking Going-to-the-Sun Road, a steep, beautiful road through Glacier National Park up to Logan Pass.

Gene breezed up the pass. The rest of us were slower.
What we just came up
Thank goodness we started at about 3,100 ft elevation. Still, 3,500 feet in 12 miles…isn’t nothing

The other side of the pass was very different terrain — very open farms and fields.

We arrived at the end of the day — another old lodge in Glacier National Park (Many Glacier).
